Assignment #1

So this picture I thought would be a great picture to take the one picture of the eagle and just stamp it and make couple more eagles. Can you figure out which one is the real one?

This picture I just added text to. This is how humid of a day it was hiking that day.

Now using the paint brush/bucket I just thought I would go with whatever I came up with. That it was pretty cool for the outcome.

  1. The clone stamp of the eagle works very well. It's always nice to have a less complicated background to stamp over for ease of blending.

With the text gradually getting smaller and angled in the Snake Mountain picture I get the sense that the heat and humidity are getting to the person writing the text. I would love to see this made a bit more extreme and possibly using a different font or added effect to really get the point across.

I LOVE what you did with the pain tool in the pepper and plum picture. It has a heavy graphic design feel to it. While I start by focusing on the pepper and plum centered in the image, all of the added colors and diagonal lines make me want to look all around the image.

  2. Loving the eagles. In Graphic Design 1, with Tom Barlow, we had to make a brush that did something similar. I opted to do leaves and footprints. This is a great illustration of what can be done 'in program' with the tools available.
