Assignment #2

The pictures on the left is when me and Eva first went outside and she was so happy I was taking a picture of her. Little did she know I wanted to take more than one. The setting on the camera I used was portrait setting with manual focus ISO80, F3.5, 1/80 and was taken from the front. The second one was when I had already taken more than a few pictures and Eva was getting bored out of her mind. I took this picture to the left of her slightly and I also cropped the picture a little. The setting I used to take this picture is portrait setting with manual focus ISO80, F3.5, 1/125. The thing I like about both these pictures is shows different angles, lighting and her emotion.

  1. You definitely captured different emotions with these two shots, and it's not all just coming from Eva. The first picture has her smiling, surrounded by lush greenery and at the center of all the attention. The second brings us in closer to reveal a little girl who looks sad and tired with her hair falling into her eyes, and the greenery we can see doesn't look as full and inviting as it once did either. It's amazing what a difference a change in perspective (and a little time) can make.
